The three promoted sides—Coventry City, Hull City, and Ipswich Town—dominate early relegation market attention after mixed starts, with Coventry and Sunderland propping up the table on six points or fewer following eight matches. Manchester City’s independent commission verdict on 114 financial breaches has sharply elevated their implied relegation risk via potential points deductions, despite sitting top on 21 points. Established sides including Tottenham, Fulham, and Nottingham Forest remain vulnerable amid inconsistent results and goal-difference deficits, while the appeal timeline, winter transfer window, and fixture congestion will shape survival paths for the bottom cluster before the January window closes.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from Premier League at the conclusion of the 2026-27 Premier League season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in Premier League for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 Premier League, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by Premier League. If the 2026-27 Premier League season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Premier League. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
