Anna Leigh Waters holds the strongest position in the PPA 2026-27 women's end-of-year number one market due to her sustained dominance across singles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. The 18-year-old has extended her record title count with multiple recent Triple Crowns, including victories at the Jenius Bank Pickleball World Championships and Orange County Cup in October 2026, while maintaining an undefeated singles streak exceeding 500 days. Her partnerships with Anna Bright in women's doubles and Ben Johns in mixed have produced consistent results that widen the gap over the field. Rising challengers such as Anna Bright, Jorja Johnson, and Tyra Hurricane Black have posted strong showings and occasional upsets in doubles, yet trail significantly in overall points and ELO ratings. Trader consensus reflects Waters' unmatched consistency and the limited realistic paths for others to overtake her by season's end.
This market will resolve according to the player who finishes Number 1 in the official PPA Women's end of year rankings for the 2026-27 Carvana PPA Tour season, as published by the Professional Pickleball Association at the conclusion of the season, including the 2027 PPA Tour Finals. If the 2026-27 end of year rankings are not published, are cancelled, or a year-end Number 1 has not been determined by May 16, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". If multiple players are tied and officially recognized as co-Number 1, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be the official end of year rankings as published by the Professional Pickleball Association (https://ppatour.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
