This market will resolve based on the result of the election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. Helder Barbalho (MDB), the term-limited outgoing governor of Pará, holds an overwhelming lead in the 2026 Senate race for first place, consistent with trader consensus at 84.5% implied probability. Recent polls from Quaest and Real Time Big Data place him at 34-40% support, driven by high name recognition, MDB organizational strength, and backing from federal allies including President Lula. Rivals such as Delegado Éder Mauro (PL) and others remain in single digits or low teens, reflecting fragmented opposition and limited momentum shifts in the past month. The race centers on voter preference in a multi-candidate field ahead of the October election, with no major late developments altering the frontrunner's position.
