The Nashville Predators visit the Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena on November 5 with both Central Division clubs separated by just two points in the standings. The Avalanche enter after a 7-2 home loss to Columbus and seek to rebound behind Nathan MacKinnon’s league-leading home shot volume and Cale Makar’s recent point surge, while Artturi Lehkonen paces the club with 12 goals. Nashville arrives on a two-game win streak capped by a 4-1 victory over Carolina but has dropped its last three road contests; the Predators also lead the season series after a 6-2 home win on October 25 that featured four power-play goals. Jonathan Marchessault remains day-to-day with a lower-body issue, while Colorado’s Josh Manson and Zachary L’Heureux are out. The altitude at Ball Arena and the Avalanche’s offensive depth represent the primary factors shaping trader consensus around the matchup.
