Miami holds the clearest path to the 2026 ACC Championship Game as the conference’s lone undefeated team at 7-0 overall and 5-0 in league play following a 52-23 win over Pittsburgh. SMU and Wake Forest sit tied at 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the ACC, with both teams carrying strong recent form and a head-to-head matchup scheduled for November 14 that could decide the second participant. Virginia Tech improved to 6-2 and 3-2 in conference play after its 20-16 victory at Clemson, while Louisville, Duke, and Boston College remain within striking distance at 3-2 or 2-2 in ACC action. Remaining schedules, including Miami’s road tests at North Carolina and Notre Dame, plus late-season tiebreaker implications, will shape final qualification.
