This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 SEC Football Championship Game, determining the champion of the Southeastern Conference for the 2026 college football season, currently scheduled for December 5, 2026. If this championship is postponed after December 19, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple teams are declared co-champions, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Southeastern Conference (https://www.secsports.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Georgia and Texas lead the 2026 SEC title market at 26% and 21% implied probability respectively, with LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss bunched immediately behind, reflecting the conference’s exceptional depth and talent distribution. Preseason media polls and projections consistently ranked Georgia and Texas atop the league on the strength of returning quarterbacks Gunner Stockton and Arch Manning, elite defenses, and proven coaching stability under Kirby Smart and Steve Sarkisian. Week 1 results reinforced this positioning, as both squads posted dominant victories while other contenders like LSU and Alabama also started 1-0. A grueling schedule featuring multiple high-level matchups among the top six or seven teams leaves little margin for error, keeping implied probabilities tightly clustered as traders weigh roster health, early momentum, and the likelihood of shared or split conference records.
