If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).

North Carolina's 12th congressional district carries a D+24 Partisan Voter Index, reflecting consistent Democratic dominance in recent presidential and House voting. Longtime incumbent Alma Adams secured her party's nomination with nearly 79 percent in the March primary and faces Republican Jack Codiga in the November 3 general election. Forecasters including the Cook Political Report, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and Inside Elections rate the race Solid or Safe Democratic. Trader consensus at 94.5 percent for a Democratic hold aligns with this structural advantage and limited Republican fundraising or organizational presence. A late scandal, health event, or unusually strong national Republican wave could still shift the outcome, though the district's underlying demographics and voting history present significant barriers.
