- NBA: LeBron James to Reach 45,000 Career Points in 2026-27?12¢12%
LeBron James enters the 2026-27 season at age 41 with 43,440 career regular-season points, needing 1,560 more to hit 45,000. Last season he averaged 20.9 points across just 60 games for the Lakers while managing chronic left-foot arthritis and sciatica. Now with the 76ers alongside Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Jaylen Brown, his scoring volume figures to decrease amid load management and a crowded offense. Preseason reports confirm ongoing foot treatment and scheduled rest, continuing a recent pattern of 55–70 games played. These durability constraints make reaching the required pace over a full campaign unlikely, aligning with trader consensus favoring the No outcome.
