Each market in this event names a number of triple-doubles. A market will resolve to "Yes" if LeBron James records at least its listed number of triple-doubles during the 2026-27 NBA regular season, and otherwise to "No". A triple-double is a game in which a player records 10 or more in three of the five statistical categories of points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks, per the official NBA box score, including any statistical corrections the NBA subsequently issues. Only 2026-27 NBA regular-season games count. NBA Cup group-play and knockout games other than the NBA Cup Championship game are regular-season games and count. Statistics from the preseason, the NBA Cup Championship game, the Play-In Tournament, the playoffs and the All-Star Game are excluded. If a player plays for more than one team during the season, his statistics from all teams are combined. If LeBron James does not play in the 2026-27 NBA regular season, including because of injury or retirement, this market will resolve according to the number of triple-doubles he recorded, which may be zero. If the 2026-27 NBA regular season is cancelled, shortened, or postponed after April 25, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve according to the number of triple-doubles LeBron James recorded in regular-season games completed by that time. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA, including NBA.com/stats; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
LeBron James enters the 2026-27 season with the Philadelphia 76ers at age 41, coming off a 2025-26 campaign with the Lakers in which he posted 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 7.2 assists across 60 games while recording three triple-doubles. His move to a roster featuring Joel Embiid, Jaylen Brown, and Tyrese Maxey shifts emphasis toward playmaking and transition facilitation rather than primary scoring, potentially boosting assist totals in a reduced-usage role. Preseason activity has been limited by rest and management of chronic left-foot arthritis, though James remains off the injury report ahead of the October 20 opener. Historical patterns show he has approached but never sustained triple-double averages over a full season, with the new supporting cast offering a plausible pathway to elevated rebounding and passing volume if minutes and health hold.
