The Toronto Raptors hold overwhelming market consensus at 98.2% as Kawhi Leonard's next team because the Clippers and Raptors reached a June 2026 trade agreement sending the two-time Finals MVP back to the franchise where he captured the 2019 title. Recent league clearance of the salary-cap circumvention probe removed the final major barrier, with Leonard facing only a fine and no contract voidance, allowing the deal—centered on Toronto sending Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, and multiple first-round picks—to proceed toward completion. Leonard, entering the final year of his Clippers contract, has signaled intent to sign a two-year extension upon arrival. Scenarios that could still alter the outcome include an unforeseen medical or league issue blocking final approval, though such risks appear minimal following the September 2026 ruling.
