The Cleveland Cavaliers visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on November 4 in the second game of a home-and-home series after falling 117-112 on the road two days prior. Oklahoma City enters at 5-2 despite multiple long-term absences, including Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, Cason Wallace, and Nikola Topic, while Jaylin Williams remains questionable. The Thunder are expected to receive defensive reinforcement from Alex Caruso’s return, bolstering perimeter containment against Donovan Mitchell and James Harden. Cleveland (4-3) will again be without Peyton Watson, Jaylon Tyson, and Nae’Qwan Tomlin, limiting wing rotation depth. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 43-point outburst in the first meeting highlighted Cleveland’s defensive vulnerabilities, and the Thunder’s 3-0 home record plus recent momentum position them as consensus favorites in trader pricing. Both teams face short-handed lineups that elevate the importance of bench production and pace control.
