The Sacramento Kings lead with the highest implied probability for the NBA's worst 2026-27 regular season record, driven by ongoing roster transitions, limited depth, and early-season results that have shaped trader consensus. The Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks sit as secondary contenders amid their own rebuilds and injury considerations, while teams like the New Orleans Pelicans and Chicago Bulls remain in the mix due to similar structural challenges. In professional basketball, elements such as back-to-back scheduling, load management decisions, and head-to-head matchups against stronger opponents often influence final standings. Recent developments, including confirmed injury reports and lineup adjustments from the first weeks of play, have reinforced positioning for these clubs without altering the broader competitive landscape.

Rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" for the team that finishes the 2026-27 NBA regular season with the worst record in the league. For the purpose of this market, the worst record in the league means the lowest winning percentage (wins divided by games played) in the final official NBA standings. Each other listed team's market will resolve to "No". If that team is not a listed team, the "Other" market will resolve to "Yes". The 2026-27 NBA regular season is scheduled to run from October 20, 2026 to April 11, 2027. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to finish the 2026-27 NBA regular season with the worst record in the league, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If two or more teams finish with the same winning percentage, this market will resolve in favor of the tied team ranked lowest in the final official NBA league-wide standings after the NBA's tiebreaker procedures are applied. If the NBA does not publish an ordering of the tied teams, each tied team's market will resolve to "No" and the "Other" market will resolve to "Yes". If the 2026-27 NBA regular season is shortened, this market will resolve according to the final official standings of the shortened season. If the 2026-27 NBA regular season is cancelled, or has not concluded by April 25, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, each listed team's market will resolve to "No" and the "Other" market will resolve to "Yes". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
