This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed player averages 10.0 or more assists per game during the 2026-27 NBA regular season and meets the NBA's minimum requirement for its official regular-season per-game leaderboard (58 games played or 400 assists during the 2026-27 NBA regular season, as the NBA applies it). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The per-game average is the player's total regular-season assists divided by regular-season games played, as displayed to one decimal place on NBA.com/stats. Only 2026-27 NBA regular-season games count. NBA Cup group-play and knockout games other than the NBA Cup Championship game are regular-season games and count. Statistics from the preseason, the NBA Cup Championship game, the Play-In Tournament, the playoffs and the All-Star Game are excluded. If a player plays for more than one team during the season, his statistics from all teams are combined. If the 2026-27 NBA regular season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, this market will resolve using available NBA statistics for completed games, with leaderboard qualification applied as the NBA applies it to the shortened season. If the 2026-27 NBA regular season is cancelled, or postponed after April 25, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve according to the player's average and qualification status in regular-season games completed by that time. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA, including NBA.com/stats; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Nikola Jokic enters the 2026-27 season as the clearest candidate to average 10+ APG after leading the league with 10.7 assists per game in 2025-26 while posting elite efficiency and playmaking volume from the center position. Other notable names include Cade Cunningham, Josh Giddey, LaMelo Ball, and Trae Young, who have posted strong assist rates in recent seasons amid high-usage guard roles. Team offensive systems, pace, and supporting cast spacing directly influence these outcomes, as do injury absences that can elevate or suppress individual assist opportunities. Preseason small-sample data showed elevated numbers from several playmakers, but sustained regular-season production depends on consistent minutes, role stability, and matchup-driven usage across an 82-game slate. Historical benchmarks confirm 10+ APG seasons remain rare and typically require elite vision combined with favorable team construction.
