Vancouver Whitecaps hold the top spot in the Western Conference on 52 points from 29 matches, one ahead of St. Louis City SC and two clear of FC Dallas, with San Jose Earthquakes, Houston Dynamo, and Los Angeles FC clustered immediately behind on 47, 46, and 45 points respectively. Multiple clubs have already secured playoff berths, leaving a tight battle for seeding and home-field advantage in the conference postseason. Recent form, goal differentials, and remaining fixtures among the top six teams continue to shape trader views on which side is best positioned to claim the conference title through the playoffs.
This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 MLS Western Conference (the Western Conference club that advances to MLS Cup 2026 by winning the Western Conference Final). If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2026 MLS Western Conference per the rules of MLS (e.g., they are eliminated from the Western Conference playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no Western Conference champion declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
