The Washington Nationals visit the Texas Rangers for a three-game interleague series at Globe Life Field in mid-August, with both clubs sitting near .500 and well out of playoff contention. The Nationals enter with a strong 22-17 interleague mark and elevated run production, though multiple players including outfielder James Wood and catcher Drew Millas remain on the injured list. Texas counters with home-field familiarity and a rotation featuring veteran Jacob deGrom in at least one start, while dealing with its own catcher injury to Danny Jansen. Recent team form, bullpen depth, and specific pitching matchups shape trader views on the series, as does the lack of major roster or coaching changes in the final weeks of the regular season.
