In the upcoming MLB game between the San Francisco Giants and Cleveland Guardians, scheduled for August 18 at 6:40PM ET: This market will resolve to "San Francisco Giants" if the San Francisco Giants win the game. This market will resolve to "Cleveland Guardians" if the Cleveland Guardians win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Both teams enter the three-game series at Progressive Field with sub-.500 records, the Giants (roughly 50-71) sitting fourth in the NL West and the Guardians (60-65) fourth in the AL Central. Cleveland holds home-field advantage and has avoided major recent roster disruptions beyond day-to-day concerns for outfielder Chase DeLauter (hamstring) and reliever Colin Holderman (wrist). San Francisco faces greater lineup and rotation uncertainty, with shortstop Willy Adames (back) and starter Logan Webb (shoulder) listed day-to-day or longer, plus Matt Chapman on the 60-day injured list. Recent interleague results and bullpen availability will likely shape late-inning outcomes more than long-term standings implications.
