In the upcoming MLB game between the Athletics and Texas Rangers, scheduled for September 2 at 2:35PM ET: This market will resolve to "Athletics" if the Athletics win the game. This market will resolve to "Texas Rangers" if the Texas Rangers win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. The Texas Rangers (69-70) host the Athletics (53-86) at Globe Life Field on September 2 as clear favorites in the series finale, buoyed by a three-game winning streak and strong 38-29 home mark. Texas pulled within one game of the AL West lead after Brandon Nimmo's four-hit, five-RBI performance in Tuesday's 8-5 victory. The Athletics enter on a five-game skid with a 28-42 road record and depleted roster featuring multiple 60-day IL placements, including key hitters like Brent Rooker and Shea Langeliers. Probable starters Jacob Lopez (5-4, 4.82 ERA) and Cody Bradford (0-3, 3.42 ERA) face lineups thinned by injuries on both sides, with the Rangers holding a 22-13 record in one-run games this season.
