In the upcoming MLB game between the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles, scheduled for August 18 at 6:35PM ET: This market will resolve to "New York Yankees" if the New York Yankees win the game. This market will resolve to "Baltimore Orioles" if the Baltimore Orioles win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
The New York Yankees hold a clear edge in this AL East matchup, sitting at 69-55 and just 5.5-6 games behind the division-leading Rays while the Orioles languish at 61-63, 13.5 games back in fourth. Carlos Rodon’s return from the injured list to start one of the games provides a significant boost to New York’s rotation, contrasting with Baltimore’s depleted staff and recent offensive inconsistencies. Key Yankees absences including Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger on the IL have tested depth, yet the club’s overall roster health and recent form maintain trader favor. Orioles injuries to Samuel Basallo and Blaze Alexander further weaken their lineup as the series unfolds at Camden Yards, where home/away splits and bullpen reliability could shift implied probabilities if late scratches or weather intervene.
