Pete Crow-Armstrong’s dominance in advanced defensive metrics, including MLB-leading Outs Above Average and fielding run value as the Cubs center fielder, anchors trader consensus at 96.7% for the NL Platinum Glove. His elite range, jump, and conversion rate on difficult plays, paired with a 162-game season featuring 45 home runs, 119 runs scored, and 40 stolen bases, have positioned him as the clear frontrunner among Gold Glove finalists. Other National League defenders trail significantly in run-prevention data and highlight volume. While late shifts in player voting or unexpected emphasis on positional adjustments could theoretically alter the outcome, his Statcast-backed edge and overall impact make a realistic challenge unlikely.
This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Platinum Glove award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
