In the upcoming MLB game between the Miami Marlins and Kansas City Royals, scheduled for September 1 at 7:40PM ET: This market will resolve to "Miami Marlins" if the Miami Marlins win the game. This market will resolve to "Kansas City Royals" if the Kansas City Royals win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

The Kansas City Royals enter this September 1 matchup at Kauffman Stadium riding a seven-game home winning streak and an 8-2 mark in their last 10 games, fueled by strong offensive output and improved pitching depth despite sitting 10.5 games back in the AL Central. Miami Marlins starters have posted a 3.59 ERA, but the club’s 27-42 road record and six losses in its last seven away contests create a clear situational disadvantage against right-hander Randy Dobnak, who carries a 1.92 ERA. The Marlins remain four games out of the final NL wild-card spot, adding playoff-implication pressure, while multiple injuries on both rosters, including Royals infielders Maikel Garcia and Michael Massey plus Marlins arms Max Meyer and Pete Fairbanks, further shape lineup and bullpen availability heading into the series.
