In the upcoming MLB game between the Houston Astros and New York Mets, scheduled for August 29 at 4:10PM ET: This market will resolve to "Houston Astros" if the Houston Astros win the game. This market will resolve to "New York Mets" if the New York Mets win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

The Houston Astros enter Saturday’s interleague contest at Citi Field at 68-67 and alone atop the AL West following a 3-1 road victory over the Mets on Friday in which Hunter Brown struck out 10 over 6⅔ innings. Houston’s offense has been carried by Yordan Alvarez while navigating injuries to Carlos Correa and others; the club is also adjusting to front-office changes. The Mets sit at 60-75, fifth in the NL East, and have dropped three straight, with Juan Soto on the 10-day injured list. New York counters with right-hander Nolan McLean (9-8, 3.21 ERA) against a Houston staff that may deploy a bullpen game or Cristian Javier (1-4, 6.47 ERA). Home-field advantage, McLean’s command, and the Mets’ need to halt their skid shape trader consensus around the outcome.
