The Chicago Cubs enter Sunday's series finale at T-Mobile Park on a three-game losing streak, including back-to-back walk-off defeats to the Mariners, dropping them seven games behind the Brewers in the NL Central while holding a slim NL wild-card edge. Seattle, at 62-68 and chasing the final AL wild-card spot, has won the first two contests of the set behind late-inning rallies and Randy Arozarena's heroics. Shota Imanaga takes the mound for Chicago against Bryce Miller in a closely matched pitching duel, with both clubs dealing with notable injuries—Cubs missing Dansby Swanson and multiple starters, Mariners without J.P. Crawford and others. Recent power surges from Pete Crow-Armstrong and Alex Bregman highlight Chicago's offensive potential, while Seattle's home form and bullpen resilience shape the tight implied probabilities.
