Baltimore Orioles (68-69) open a three-game interleague series against the last-place Colorado Rockies (52-85) on August 31 at Coors Field, where the high-altitude venue typically inflates scoring. Kyle Bradish (7-12, 4.03 ERA) takes the mound for Baltimore against Tanner Gordon (1-4, 5.38 ERA) for Colorado. The Orioles enter on a three-game win streak and sit just one game out of an AL wild-card spot, while the Rockies have dropped four straight and own MLB’s worst run differential. Multiple Baltimore starters and relievers remain on the injured list, including Tyler O’Neill and several long-term absences, though Pete Alonso is day-to-day after a head issue. Recent form, the pitching matchup, and Coors Field’s offensive environment shape trader expectations for the opener.
