This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Incheon Intl Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 27 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=rksi If NOAA data is unavailable or missing for the observation period, Weather Underground will be used as the secondary resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
Strong model consensus and current atmospheric conditions support the market's heavy weighting toward a 25°C overnight low for Seoul-Incheon on August 27. Multiple forecasts, including those aligned with Korea Meteorological Administration guidance, indicate light winds, high humidity near 80-90%, and extensive cloud cover will limit nocturnal radiative cooling, anchoring the minimum near 25°C. This aligns with recent late-August patterns where persistent moisture has kept lows elevated above seasonal drier-night baselines. The 94.5% implied probability reflects trader confidence in this stable setup, with only modest odds on 24°C reflecting the narrow window for slightly stronger cooling. A sudden clearing of skies or unexpected wind shift could allow the temperature to dip to 24°C or below, while any additional moisture or stalled front would reinforce the 25°C outcome.
