This market will resolve based on the lowest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded at the Miami Intl Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 20 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the lowest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Miami Intl Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/fl/miami/KMIA. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.

Persistent subtropical warmth and limited overnight radiational cooling position the 78–81°F range as the dominant outcomes for Miami’s daily minimum temperature on August 20, 2026. Official National Weather Service guidance and multiple forecast models indicate the overnight low will settle in the upper 70s to low 80s, consistent with the market-implied probabilities that assign over 83% combined likelihood to 78–81°F. High dew points near 77–80°F, widespread cloud cover from afternoon and evening thunderstorms, and light southerly flow suppress the typical nighttime temperature drop. Early-morning observations already show readings holding near 82°F, and forecast soundings suggest minimal cooling before sunrise. This pattern aligns with August climatology, where average lows hover around 77–78°F, but recent heat-advisory conditions and elevated moisture have kept actual minima several degrees above the long-term normal in recent days. No incoming cold front or unusual atmospheric setup is expected to produce a sharper drop, so the market consensus reflects the narrow band of outcomes supported by current model agreement and official agency forecasts.
