This market will resolve to the team ranked number 1 on the Global Power Rankings at the end of the 2026 competitive year. The market resolves to whichever team occupies the number 1 position on the official Global Power Rankings once the final 2026 ranking is published following the conclusion of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship. If two or more teams are tied for number 1 on the final 2026 ranking, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed team name comes first alphabetically. If a team not individually listed as an outcome finishes number 1, this market will resolve to "Other." If the final 2026 Global Power Rankings are not published, or a number 1 team is not determined, by January 14, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other." The resolution source for this market will be official information from the League of Legends Esports Global Power Rankings (https://lolesports.com/en-GB/gpr/2026/current); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
HLE currently leads the official Global Power Rankings by a slim 15-point margin over BLG, with T1 and Gen.G clustered just behind, reflecting balanced results across LCK and LPL splits heading into the 2026 season. Recent international showings and regional consistency have kept these four teams within striking distance, as minor swings in match outcomes or roster adjustments can shift the point totals that determine post-Worlds positioning. The tight distribution among LCK representatives and the leading LPL side underscores how head-to-head records, playoff depth, and late-season form continue to compress the implied probabilities for the top rank.
