Zhetysu and Kaisar finished the 2026 Kazakhstan Premier League season in the relegation zone after 30 rounds, ending with 27 and 25 points respectively. Poor defensive records and inconsistent results across the campaign left both sides unable to accumulate enough points to stay clear of the bottom two spots, while Altai survived on 28 points following a final-round draw. Ordabasy claimed the title with 68 points ahead of Kairat and Astana, but the lower table remained tight until the closing matches, where results in the 30th round confirmed the drop for the Taldykorgan and Kyzylorda clubs. League expansion rules from prior seasons influenced promotion and relegation numbers, but final standings and goal difference settled the two-team relegation to the First Division.
