Multiple J1 League sides enter the 2026/27 campaign with comparable defensive structures and recent form, keeping the clean-sheet race wide open after ten matchdays. FC Tokyo leads early tallies with five shutouts through the opening stretch, while Sanfrecce Hiroshima, Vissel Kobe, and Yokohama F. Marinos sit close behind on four apiece, supported by strong results against varied opposition. Sanfrecce’s league-low goals conceded and Machida Zelvia’s consistent organization further tighten the group, as no single defense has established a decisive edge. With 28 rounds remaining and several clubs posting low concession rates, trader pricing reflects broad parity across established and promoted sides rather than any clear frontrunner.
