Gonzalo Villanueva and Joaquin Aguilar Cardozo meet in the M15 Mar del Plata semifinals on clay, where the younger Uruguayan holds a 3-1 head-to-head edge, including straight-set victories in recent M15 Asuncion finals. Cardozo arrives with a 10-match winning streak and multiple titles this year on the surface, posting a 33-10 record in 2026 while converting breaks efficiently. Villanueva, the higher-ranked Argentine with greater experience and strong recent wins in Mar del Plata, has shown vulnerability against Cardozo on clay and trails in overall momentum.
