Vaal Urankar faces Nicolo Toffanin in the ITF M25 Maribor singles draw on outdoor clay. Toffanin holds the clear ranking edge (around 1195 vs. Urankar’s 2168) and greater experience at this level, with a stronger overall clay record in recent seasons. Both players enter with uneven 2026 form—Toffanin at roughly 7-17 and Urankar around 6-11—marked by frequent early exits against similar opposition. Urankar benefits from local support as the Slovenian home player and recent ITF exposure in Slovenia, while Toffanin has logged multiple clay events across Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia this summer, including doubles participation in Maribor. The closely priced market reflects these offsetting factors, with no reported injuries or late withdrawals altering the field. Weather in Maribor remains mild and stable, unlikely to disrupt play.
