Samira De Stefano enters this first-round ITF W75 clay-court clash as the higher-ranked player (around No. 300-307, career-high 257) with a stronger 2026 record (25-11) and recent European clay exposure, including a win streak earlier in the year and a last-16 appearance at the prior W75 Hechingen event. The 22-year-old Italian left-hander has shown consistent results on the surface and benefits from familiarity with the European clay swing. Antonia Vergara Rivera, a 19-year-old Chilean ranked near No. 350, arrives after early exits on hard courts in the U.S. and a first-round loss in the preceding Kursumlijska Banja 2 tournament, creating a surface-transition factor on the slower clay. With no prior head-to-head meetings, trader consensus reflects De Stefano’s ranking edge, recent form, and clay adaptation as the key drivers, while Vergara Rivera’s youth and potential for improvement represent the main variables that could influence outcomes in a closely contested lower-tier draw.
