Anja Stankovic enters this W50 clay-court encounter with strong local momentum after qualifying and defeating Ikumi Yamazaki in the opening round, leveraging extensive recent play across Serbian ITF events where she has posted solid win rates on the surface. Higher-ranked Alina Granwehr (around 341) carries an edge in overall experience and 2026 results, including a W35 title and consistent performances in European clay tournaments, though her recent schedule has featured fewer matches at this specific venue. Both competitors favor baseline rallies on slower clay, with Stankovic’s home-soil familiarity and recent volume potentially offsetting Granwehr’s ranking and head-to-head profile advantages in a closely contested second-round match.
