Semen Pankin enters the M15 Kursumlijska Banja semifinal as the higher-ranked player (ATP 426) with a stronger recent win rate and larger sample of matches against tougher competition compared to Dimitar Kisimov. Pankin has advanced through the draw with straight-sets victories on the clay surface, including wins over Dusan Bazdar and Stefan Horia Haita, while demonstrating solid consistency across hard and clay courts this season. Kisimov, a younger competitor with a more limited professional record (around 6-5 in 2026), has also reached the semis via efficient wins but faces a significant experience gap. With no prior head-to-head meetings, the matchup hinges on Pankin’s established form and ranking edge versus Kisimov’s potential to capitalize on home-region familiarity and any lapses in the favorite’s performance on the slow clay.
