Luiza Fullana enters this W35 Barueri first-round hard-court matchup with strong recent momentum after claiming the W15 Campos do Jordão title on the same surface in mid-August, where she won five straight matches in dominant fashion. The 25-year-old Brazilian has compiled a solid 2026 hard-court record and benefits from playing on home soil in Brazil, where she has secured all seven of her ITF singles titles. Maria Fernanda Navarro, a 30-year-old Mexican ranked lower at around No. 660, carries a mixed 2026 singles ledger with several early exits on both hard and clay, including a straight-sets loss on hard in early August. Fullana’s superior current form, surface-specific results, and local support shape trader consensus around the Brazilian as the clear favorite in this ITF-level encounter.
