Karolina Mrazikova, a 21-year-old Slovak ranked around WTA 1330, enters this ITF W35 Krakow clay-court match after consecutive straight-set victories in the event, including against Tereza Stepankova, reflecting strong recent form on the surface. Sofia Shapatava, the more experienced Georgian with a deeper ITF resume and prior clay success, arrives after a quarterfinal exit in the preceding W35 Bydgoszcz and mixed 2025-2026 results. The outdoor clay conditions favor baseline consistency and endurance, areas where Mrazikova’s current momentum and proximity to the host region may provide an edge, while Shapatava’s veteran court craft and head-to-head parity keep the contest competitive for traders assessing implied probabilities. No major injury reports or withdrawals have altered the draw.
