Alja Senica enters the W15 Pécs semifinal as the clear favorite, holding a significantly higher WTA ranking near 700 compared to Karolina Mrazikova’s position around 1289. The 18-year-old Slovenian has compiled strong recent clay results, including three straight wins in Pécs to reach the final four and a title at another W15 event on the surface this summer. Mrazikova, a 21-year-old Slovak, advanced via three victories in the draw but carries a lower overall win rate and less consistent form at this level. Both players compete on their preferred clay surface with no prior head-to-head record, yet trader consensus reflects Senica’s superior ranking, recent momentum, and stylistic edge in extended rallies typical of ITF clay matches. Schedule and physical recovery from the short turnaround remain key variables for either outcome.
