Jannik Maute faces Thiago Cigarran in the M15 Allershausen semifinals on clay. The 22-year-old German enters with strong recent momentum, posting a 9-1 clay record in 2026 and winning nine of his last ten matches overall while advancing through the draw with straight-set victories over local and international opponents. Maute benefits from home-soil familiarity and consistent baseline play on the slower surface. The 26-year-old Argentine Cigarran, ranked around No. 653, counters with greater experience and a 27-23 record this year, mostly on clay; he reached the semis after three-set wins including a comeback against Boosarawongse and victories over Schlossmann and Rejchtman Vinciguerra. Both players are comfortable on clay with no reported injuries, making recent form, physical freshness after multiple matches, and adaptation to conditions the primary factors shaping trader views on the outcome.
