Koki Matsuda, a 25-year-old Japanese right-hander ranked around No. 451, brings greater professional experience from recent ITF and Challenger hard-court events against the 19-year-old local Chen Hui Ho in this M25 Taipei main-draw match on outdoor hard. Ho, a rising Taiwanese junior with a career-high ITF junior ranking near 96 and recent qualifying wins in the event, benefits from home conditions and crowd support as he transitions toward college tennis. Limited head-to-head history leaves recent form and surface familiarity as key variables, with traders viewing the matchup as competitive given the age and experience gap. No confirmed injuries or withdrawals have altered the field ahead of the scheduled start.
