Laurent Lokoli enters the M25 Lesa semifinals as the clear ranking favorite, holding an ATP position near 400 after a career high of 167, while 19-year-old Italian Samuele Seghetti sits well outside the top 1000. The French veteran brings extensive experience across ATP Challengers and ITF events on clay, where his consistent baseline game and physical conditioning often prevail in longer matches. Seghetti has shown strong recent form in the Lesa draw, advancing through qualifying and early rounds with solid results on the home-soil surface, though his limited professional resume leaves him vulnerable against higher-level opponents. The clay-court setting favors endurance and tactical patience, areas where Lokoli’s proven track record provides a meaningful edge in this matchup.
