Xinxin Yao enters the W75 Tianjin hard-court matchup with a clear edge, holding a 1-0 head-to-head record after her straight-sets victory over Anastasia Kulikova in the 2025 W35 Shenyang final and ranking roughly 100 spots higher (around 284–396 versus Kulikova’s 393–510). Yao, a left-handed Chinese player, has secured multiple ITF titles on the surface, including the 2026 W50 Wuning crown, and benefits from home-soil familiarity in Tianjin. Kulikova, a right-hander with prior experience on Asian hard courts, posted strong results in U.S. W75 events during July–August 2026 but faces a tougher draw against a player whose recent indoor and hard-court form has been more consistent. No major injuries or withdrawals have altered the field.
