Daria Kuczer enters the ITF W75 Bytom clay-court match after capturing the W35 Bydgoszcz title on August 16, defeating Yelyzaveta Kotliar in the final following a strong run that included wins over Dalila Jakupovic and Sofia Shapatava. The 27-year-old Pole has compiled an 11-5 clay record in 2026, showing improved form on the surface. Zuzanna Pawlikowska, the younger and higher-ranked Polish player (around No. 368-410), posted three straight wins in W35 Krakow clay events in mid-August before a quarterfinal exit to Dalila Jakupovic. Both competitors have extensive recent clay exposure in Polish events, with Pawlikowska holding a career edge in ranking points while Kuczer benefits from momentum and local familiarity on the slow surface. The matchup features two home players in a higher-level W75 draw where recent form and surface adaptation weigh heavily.
