Yelyzaveta Kotliar enters the ITF W35 Bydgoszcz semifinal on clay holding a clear ranking edge at approximately No. 417 versus Nellie Taraba Wallberg’s position near No. 572. Kotliar advanced with straight-sets victories in the quarterfinals and earlier rounds, building on recent WTA main-draw appearances that included a three-set win over Francesca Jones. Wallberg reached the final four by defeating Tatiana Pieri and draws on strong junior results, including a 2025 U18 European title, though her ITF win rate trails Kotliar’s. The surface favors baseline consistency and movement, areas where Kotliar’s experience provides an edge, yet Wallberg’s recent form keeps the matchup competitive with realistic upset potential for either player.
