Kirill Kivattsev enters the ITF M25 Slovenj Gradec clay-court round of 16 as the clear market favorite against Frederic Schlossmann, reflecting his greater ITF experience and higher baseline consistency. Kivattsev reached this stage after a recent first-round loss in M25 Muttenz but maintains stronger career point-winning metrics and prior results on clay. Schlossmann, a lower-ranked German, advanced with straight-set wins over Lun Obrul and others in the draw, yet lacks comparable depth in Futures-level competition. The surface favors baseline rallies where Kivattsev’s serve and movement typically create advantages, though any early-set lapses or Schlossmann’s momentum from home-tournament play could keep the underdog competitive in best-of-three sets.
