Nathan Anthony Barki enters the M15 Bali hard-court matchup with notable recent momentum on home soil. The 21-year-old Singapore-born Indonesian has secured key wins in the local series, including a three-set victory over seeded Spaniard Pablo Perez Ramos and a first-set lead before Anthony Susanto retired injured, advancing him to the quarterfinals. Barki’s 40% win rate over his last 10 matches reflects competitive form on the surface. In contrast, 22-year-old Taiwanese Kai-i Wang arrives with mixed results from recent M25 and M15 events, posting several straight-set losses to higher-ranked opponents while showing occasional doubles success in Bali. With no prior head-to-head record, the outcome hinges on Barki’s local adaptation and serve-return consistency versus Wang’s ability to stabilize his baseline game in what projects as a tightly contested early-round encounter.
