Lucie Havlickova enters the first-round clash at the ITF W50 Prague on clay as the clear favorite, backed by her WTA ranking near 230 and recent exposure in higher-level events. The 21-year-old Czech posted a career-highlight win over Alycia Parks in the 2026 Prague Open before falling to Barbora Krejcikova, demonstrating strong baseline consistency on home soil. Victoria Bervid, an 18-year-old compatriot with minimal professional results and no WTA ranking points, faces a steep test in her first meeting against a more seasoned opponent. Both players benefit from local familiarity and clay-court comfort, yet Havlickova’s superior movement, serve volume, and match toughness shape the current trader consensus around her advancement. Schedule positioning and any late withdrawals remain the primary variables ahead of the August 18 encounter.
