Ana Grubor enters the W35 Verbier first-round clash with a clear ranking edge at No. 534, though her 2026 form includes early exits in Canadian hard-court qualifiers. Federica Trevisan, ranked near 977, arrives with momentum from strong July results on European clay, including multiple wins at the W15 level. The match pits Grubor’s greater ITF experience against Trevisan’s recent consistency on slower surfaces typical of Swiss summer events. Limited head-to-head history leaves surface adaptation and current fitness as primary variables, with both players competing at similar prize-money tiers where upsets remain common.
