Samuel De Felipe Garcia, a 27-year-old Spaniard with extensive ITF experience on clay, faces 18-year-old Xavi Palomar in the M25 Oviedo on outdoor clay courts. De Felipe Garcia has compiled a mixed 2026 record across hard and clay events, including recent qualifying wins and losses in M25 and M15 tournaments, while relying on consistent participation at this level. Palomar, an emerging Spanish prospect ranked near ATP 1560 with a junior title in 2025, enters with limited professional wins and several early exits in 2026 ITF events. Both players share Spanish nationality and clay-court familiarity, though Palomar’s youth and recent ATP points accumulation contrast with De Felipe Garcia’s greater match volume at the M25 tier. No confirmed injuries or withdrawals affect the matchup.
