Elena Ruxandra Bertea holds the edge in this ITF W75 quarterfinal on clay thanks to her higher WTA ranking near 257 versus Encheva’s position around 439 and a 2-1 head-to-head lead, including straight-set clay victories in their last two meetings. Both 20-year-old clay specialists have posted solid recent results on the surface, with Encheva winning seven of her past ten matches overall while Bertea has reached multiple semifinals in 2025-26 events. The match marks another chapter in their regional rivalry after strong showings in nearby Romanian and Serbian ITF tournaments, where consistent break-point conversion and return play will likely decide the outcome on the red clay.
