Michaela Bayerlova enters the W35 Verbier 2 first-round clay-court matchup as the clear market favorite due to her greater experience, stronger historical clay-court record (nearly 200 career clay wins), and recent form on the surface. The 27-year-old Czech, with a career-high singles ranking of 317, has posted solid 2026 clay results including multiple ITF wins, while the 19-year-old Olga Danilova (current ranking around 782) has compiled a mixed record this season primarily on hard and grass courts with limited recent clay exposure. No prior singles head-to-head exists between the players, and both compete at comparable current rankings, though Bayerlova’s veteran doubles success and overall match volume provide an edge in consistency for this ITF-level encounter.
