Anastasija Cvetkovic enters this W35 Verbier 2 clay-court matchup with stronger recent form and surface-specific momentum. The 18-year-old Serbian, ranked around WTA 920-926, reached the semifinals of the preceding W35 Verbier event, securing wins over Stefaniya Pushkar, Dalila Spiteri, and Mara Guth before falling to Valentini Grammatikopoulou. Her 2026 clay record stands out with multiple ITF victories and solid junior Grand Slam showings on the surface. Olga Danilova, an 18-year-old Cypriot ranked near WTA 782, brings a more mixed 2026 ledger dominated by hard- and grass-court results, including early exits against higher-level opponents. Limited clay exposure this season and Cvetkovic’s ongoing Verbier success shape trader consensus around the Serbian’s edge in baseline consistency and adaptation to the slow red-clay conditions.
